The studio's assignment for the summer semester was to design a multi-generation family house in the Šárka Valley with two residential units. In my case, I designed a house for me, my future family and for my grandmother and grandfather and their dog. Grandparents would own the lower apartment unit and the second floor is for the younger generation. We had a choice of three plots, two are located on a steep hill and the third is mild in a flooded area. I chose the third one, due to the possibility of a large garden, and it came in handy for my grandparents with their dog and kids.
