Studio Sol LeWitt

Functionality. This word was a major aspect in designing the study for Sol LeWitt. The building is located in a dense forest in northwest Connecticut, America, where LeWitt was born. He also loved this nature, so I chose this location. The initial idea was to come up with a skeleton that could be moved and assembled as needed. This was perfectly fulfilled. It is a basic module of 4.25m x 4.25m composed of lightweight aluminum frames, filled with thermal insulation. Most of the facades are glazed, as LeWitt loved walking through the woods, so I tried to keep this feeling throughout the building.
