The House on The House ²

The House on The House ² is a design of a structure located in a courtyard in the centre of Žižkov district. The general concept is a house of our childhood imaginations. Two houses with gable roofs connected through a hall are put onto the first floor of the new building. The structure is designed for a mother of two children. To be easily maintainable the structure´s area is quite small. The first floor is ideal for spending family leisure time and the second floor offers safe space for the mother and one shared room for the children. A great benefit in the city centre is a large terrace with a view into the courtyard, naturally shaded by surrounding trees. The facade has atypically situated windows, which provides perfect amount of a daylight and privacy inside the interior.
