Howling silence

Timur Gairbekov

Annotation

The Howling Silence Chapel is a series of wooden gates forming a corridor and creating a sense of the portal to another world. Inspired by the Japanese Gate "Torii", I created a place in which a person acquires harmony, feeling one with nature around him. The Japanese fountain, located on the outside of the gates, creates rhythmic knocks, as if the pendulum, simplifying the process of meditation and relaxation. The advantages are the simple form and idea, minimum of materials, simplicity of installation and mobility of the structure, which will also simplify its further dismantling without harm to the environment.
