House on the house

The house on the house situated in the Zizkov district is intended for a couple with grown-up children who do not live with them. Its shape is inspired by the diagonal of the side street. The layout of the house is divided into two parts. On the 3rd floor there are social spaces for meetings and terraces, on the 4th and 4+ floors. there is living space. The basic shape of the floor plan is determined by the 3rd floor, rooms for children protrude from the floor plan as two turrets. The entrance from the house of the already standing building is separated, the staircase of the building is used as stairs to the terrace, which belongs to the new house, and there is an entrance to it. The facade is covered with white trapezoidal sheet metal.
