Metanoia Gate

Metanoia Gate is a spiritual place at Prague's Trojmezí. Although it is a spiritual place, Metanoia does not carry the usual religious symbols. It is based on the architectural tradition of the gate, in which it normally separates two spaces. On a metaphorical level, the Metanoia Gate separates the past and the future and thus embodies the present moment itself. It allows visitors to enter a new reality that arises from a mere change of perspective. The shape of the gate reflects the imaginary change of mind by escalating from the modest passage through vegetation to the monumental gate. The gate opens not only to the width of the meadow, but also to the height of the sky and through the light well brings the untouchable to the ground.
