Gallery of futurism

The subject of the exhibition is futuristic art represented by sculptures, paintings, drawings and sketches. Embodying unrest, dynamics and technological progress, the gallery is located in a rejuvenating area of a former abandoned brownfield. Contrasting the bright, airy interior, the conspicuous bulkiness and cumbersomeness of the building is further accentuated by the supporting system of bearing frames interfering with the glass walls – the main source of light. The underground section features the entrance into the gallery and a café facilitating the ascend to the focal parts of the exhibition. A pair of skylights – the highlight of the gallery and additional light source – mediates the views of the exhibition from various heights.
