GALLERY WITH A VIEWPOINT

The gallery is focused on the relationship between human and nature. In the design I worked with a contrast of light – the underground space is not that illuminated and the atmosphere should let the visitor think about the current world situation. As the visitor continues walking, the gallery leads him up to the light as a symbol of hope. The main concept of the gallery is connecting two masses of simple shapes but contrasting heights. These two masses are connected by the underground. Each floor of the tower is oriented to one of the four cardinal directions, a glass wall offers a view of a landscape. The gallery tour ends of the roof with a viewpoint where the previous views become one.
