Sol Lewitt Studio

An artist needs a quiet and inspiring environment for work, he needs to be focused when conceiving the ideas for new artworks as well as he needs space to discuss work with team members and colleagues. Studio Sol Lewitt fulfills all of the mentioned requirements with the Studio, Gallery and Boudoir, which are a calm sanctuary for the artist as well as a practical workshop for working with the team. The buildings are situated on different ground levels and are therefore isolated from one another. The complex lies in a highland area, surrounded by untouched nature, green hills and rocky mountains. Glass panels of the gallery front wall offer an enthralling landscape view, similar to the view from the artist's boudoir, there is a large window in the wall as well, to set the mood and inspire.
