Fusion of history and present

In the Landscape of my heart, which I started the project with, I found the fusion of history and present. I chose Vyšehrad, because that’s where I spent my whole childhood. Into the tank, I’ve tried to incorporate all imperssions of the landscape, such as the balance of the gracefull nature and rough birckwork or as already mentioned – history and present. I’ve illustrated this balance with new concrete elements that act tohgether with the local old concrete. I wanted to bring a little cosiness into the tank, so I’ve designed big supporting walls, that became the main dominant feature. I’ve extended this edge with the help of an old tree’s strain. For another act of balance in my project, I’ve decided to keep the symmetry in contarst with the diverse nature.
