Space for meditation

The meditation pavilion is located at the Baba lookout on the left bank of the Vltava in Dejvice, Prague. The central element of the place becomes not only the panorama of Prague Castle and Hradčany, but also the northern views of the rock massifs and the meander of the Vltava. Thus, two contrasting components are connected - nature and the city. These qualities are used by the meditation space in the form of a viewing upper floor. Light plays a big role in the construction concept. The building is divided into a total of 3 rooms designed for different types of meditations, the implementation of which is supported by different light phenomena, and can therefore serve a diverse range of visitors and meet their different needs. The atmosphere of the space is completed by vertical ribs.
