There are many abandoned places without use that have been forgotten. This year's assignment of our studio was the revitalization of the Water Tank Sukov near Kutná Hora, which served to irrigate the surrounding landscape. Due the high maintanance and initial cost it was only used in the 1988 - 1991. Our assingment was to come up with a new meaningful use for this deep concrete octagon. The idea of my design is the contrast between concrete and vegetation as an analogy of the city and greenery.
