Waves

The concept of this pavilion on the Štvanice island was mainly based on water. Specifically was the focus on different atributes of water transferable to needs of inhabitants of Prague city. The shape is based on waving, but the stylization transformed the mass into cubic forms. Two parts are conected only in one point, but it is possible to enter to both of parts by separate staircases. The concept was supported by used materials as well. Lattice steel construction was suplemented by wood. On some parts was also used fiberglass, which lets the light come in, but the privacy is not disturbed.
