The materials showroom

The Sample Room of Materials is a pavilion creating an exceptional space for the presentation of a range of new materials and technologies of their processing for architecture. The concept of the solution is an educational walk through the space, which is connected by a spiral of stairs. The staircases are embedded between wall surfaces fitted with sections creating a stained glass window of translucent materials. The sample room building is square in plan and is set by rotation in relation to the square plan of the atrium. The orientation is designed in accordance with the movement of people in the atrium space, in relation to its spatial layout and the subsequent circulation spaces.
