An Artist's House

Brian May is a guitarist of the rock band Queen which he joined in the year 1968. Naturally one of the priorities for my design was to include a place for him to be able to practice music in which would be accordingly isolated from the living quarters. Apart from a musician, Brian May is also an astrophysicist with a degree, the outer space in general is one of his passions. Therefore the next important place in the house is a terace which allows him to use a telescope to observe the stars with the biggest field of view possible. Brian May is also an advocate for nature preservation, therefore I had to include a space where he can spend time outside. This place is designed as a terace, because the steep terrain does not allow any other way of spending time outside.
