RESIDENCE FOR ARTISTS | BABA

The concept of my design is transparency defined by overhanging transparent facade, large windows and glazed areas, thanks to which enough natural light penetrates into the interior and, at the same time, the interior is connected to the exterior. The residence as a whole is divided into three main parts - residential, working and exhibition. The working part consists of two separate elevated studios, which are interconnected with the gallery by a gallery with different height levels. Another significant elements of the building are the two atriums, which connect the individual parts of the residence and create external shared spaces. The residence can be used by two artists and their families at the same time.....
