FAMILY HOUSE

This spacious house is covered in black facing masonry is located in Prague - Petřiny. It copies original terrain, so it doesn’t disturb view into the valley. Concept of this house is made for slovakian runner Lenka Vácvalová Poláčková who enjoys sports mostly outside and home is recovery place for her. I consider this location suitable for family life. The main characteristics that can be noticed include the industrial touch of the building and the materials in their pure form combined with the fine execution of details. The spatial arrangement of the layout allows changes over the years. There is also a sauna with a cold pool and access to a private terrace. On the first floor we find a study with a dressing room for sportswear, a room for bicycles and terrace with barbeque and bar.
