What will happen when the opencast mines in the Most region close? After reclamation, the mining pit will be flooded, creating a huge lake and recreational areas around it. Our studio will situate the vineyard track, including new buildings related to viticulture and winemaking, in a selected location below the Jezeří Chateau as a new addition. At the heart of the proposed new urban unit "Vineyard Route Bridge" is a multi-purpose building for an information centre. The group of buildings is intended to serve as a place where visitors can get all the information about the area and its history, but also as a public space that can accommodate various public meetings, performances, lectures, concerts and other events.
