HOUSE FOR A SCULPTOR

The concept of a family house with a studio for a sculptor is located in a sloping terrain in the functionalist settlement of Baba. Its idea is casually connected to the surrounding buildings. The building is divided into three floors. The house is for one household, which is looked after by a servant who has his living facilities. The artist has a spacious atelier which is part of the house. Above the atelier, there are exhibition spaces, which give access to a roof terrace with a breathtaking view of Prague and Prague Castle. The south terrace offers the same view accessible from the living room. The living room is combined with the kitchenette and dining table and is connected to the winter garden. On the lower floor, you will find bedrooms and a sauna.
