An Artist's House

The detached house for photographer and biologist Petr Jan Juračka is designed as a modern, spacious building having clear and simple shapes. The main tasks were given in specific layout requirements and setting the house on a steep hillside. Thanks to the terrace, outdoor seating and glass front area, the building is not only physically but also visually integrated into the surrounding natural framework. The external visual dominants include a glass south-eastern façade and a materially expressive studio which is located on the rooftop.
