Climber's House

The newly formed block in Opava grew up together with the climbing center. The climbers' house is located on a long plot that connects the Upper Square and the inner block of the former Slezanka. The generous windows on the façade towards the center lure passers-by in by the look on the climbers on the wall. The building can be entered from both sides and it welcomes visitors with climbing needs shops. Narrow but tall windows on the inner block side transmits rays of light to all floors of the house. In addition to the indoor climbing wall, the outdoor one awaits the visitor in the atrium of the house. The gym on the second floor will serve well to build strength for climbing and for non-athletes, the building is complemented by a two-story cafe overlooking the atrium of climbers.
