Bed sheet

The project Bed sheet, a minimal living cell for students, is designed for an indoor studio in a courtyard at Veletržní 61/63 in Prague 7. The cell is inspired by children's pillow bunkers. Its outer shell is made of cotton canvas stretched over a subtle wooden structure. The fabric takes advantage of the internal conditions of the hall, allowing air and light to flow freely into the cell and maximising the usable area by its thinness. On the lower floor, the fabric can be unrolled and the cell can be opened into the hall. The fabric is also used in the interior, where it separates built-in furniture. The function of a single room can thus be freely varied according to the current needs of the user.
