Tea House

"Tea House" is a housing cell designed for minimal student housing. On 8.9 m2 there is only a place for sleeping and tea ceremony. The main part is a round meeting place for drinking tea, which is prepared on a gas burner hidden below floor level. The futon, which is hidden from the rest of the interior by curtains, is used for sleeping. The whole housing cell is made of easily accessible and cheap materials such as crates, plywood, paper tubes, PVC pipes and tracing paper. Tea House is not only affordable, but also easy to assemble for students.
