In harmony

A community centre with a caretaker's house is set in a place connecting the historic part of Liboc with new buildings. The houses are a kind of introductory element of the center of the neighborhood. Overhead, behind a high wall lean the mighty trees of the park Hvězda. From the east side, the houses appear unobtrusive, as if diverting from the busy road. Their relationship with their surroundings manifests itself from the west side, where they begin to communicate with the orchard and the surrounding libose with Terezka pond. They open to a quiet garden with a terrace shaded by fruit trees. Both the saddle roof and materials refer to traditional architecture, but everything is used to unite the two structures into one homogeneous mass.
