The sculptor's house

The Sculptor's house is located in the residential colony Baba on the left bank of the Vltava in Dejvice, Prague. The aim of the concept was to combine the professional and personal life of the sculptor so as to enable both technically complex work with sculptures and the organization of exhibitions and events for the public, and at the same time these activities did not interfere with family privacy. The house is thus divided into 3 consecutive units - living area, studio and exhibition space. A separate entrance to all 3 units is possible. In addition, there is a separate entrance to the housekeeper's appartment in the living area. The horizontal division of the house provides southern views of Hradčany and creates a residential terrace.
