Connecting the old with the new. Baba is best known for its functionalist architecture that was build on the bases of urbanistic regulations that were set in place by Pavel Janák in 1912. However, the oldest building in this location is actually the house that is set on a parcel that is the interest of our project. Mainly due to its historical relevance, I have decided to repurpose this house and use its space for an exhebition about the historical relevance of Baba. Another two objects that I have placed onto the parcel are following the original regulations by following chess-patterned placement of the objects, which offers each one of them a view of Prague. The built up area also does not exceed 15% of the area of the parcel.
