GALLERY ON THE LIBEŇ ISLAND

There is a gallery for artists in Holešovice on the Libeň Island, which is inspired by Maholy Nagy. This architectural solution is interesting mainly because of its location by the water, which adds to the atmosphere and enhances the uniqueness of this place. Natural light is used here for light modulation of the interior spaces. The main exhibition space is enriched with a maisonette floor, which is accessible from the second floor. It provides visitors another view of the exhibition section. The cafe, located in the gallery building, is connected to the terrace. This allows visitors a view of the Vltava River and peaceful contemplation.
