Activator

The activator is supposed to recultivate and make non-place more pleasant which is located right next to the entrance to the metro in Holešovice in Prague 7. It is a place where you can buy a drink, listen to a small concert or a lecture by local artists and relax. In the pavilion, you can spend time on the extensive greenery in the middle of the Activator or in larger niches for a sense of privacy. The facades of the activator are made up of sliding wooden panels that create a pleasant and playful atmosphere. The Activator can also be reached by a red metal staircase that leads from the street and turns right next to the original pillar, a local dominant. The activator itself is a wooden structure, which is creating a contrast with the brutalist stone facade of the station building.
