INFOPOINT IN DEJVICE CAMPUS

My information center proposal focuses on the people's movement on the street “Technická”. University buildings are located on the southern and northern part of this street which form a dense traffic of students right in the middle. The well-thought-out location of the info-center and cafe organizes this traffic and at the same time creates a pleasant space for spending time. I designed the information center and the cafe as separate places, connected by a wooden pergola, characterizing continuity and connection. The glass surfaces in the cafe could be opened in the summer, which would connect the interior with the exterior area of the location.
