From astonishment through freedom to respect

According to the project, the Vrapice heaps, a collection of construction waste, should be transformed into a place to stop, reflect and rest. The project is inspired by the Norwegian landscape, awaking the feelings evoked by the post-industrial environment. This comparison brings respect for the landscape and for the people themselves, insight and peace into the project. The territory should become a destination where people stop. They will have the opportunity to look at the surroundings and reflect. To admire both the beauty and power of nature and the maturity of man. On the other hand, leaving the raw nature of the landscape, supported by crude human input, should create a contrast to this particular form of harmony. One should reflect, stop and observe here.
