Kandinsky Gallery

Natália Henselová

Annotation

Galerie Kandinskij is based on the principle of abstract art inspired by the work of Vasily Kandinsky. The main principle of the building is the reduction to basic geometric shapes, in this case a square, in the space of a cube. From the exterior, the building may look ordinary, but its interest lies in the interior design . The building is thus a large cube, in which there are other smaller cubes that separate the different exhibition spaces. Just as abstract art is not constrained by anything and is not governed by rules, the space in the gallery is not defined and directed by anything. It offers the visitor the possibility to choose his own route, to move freely around the open space.
