Gallery of Gustav Klimt

The gallery is dedicated to the paintings of Gustav Klimt - the leading Art Nouveau painter. Since he spent most of his life in Austria, I chose a location for his gallery in the Austrian meadows surrounded by the Alps. Ornamentation is considered to be the main characteristics of the Art Nouveau style, so I wanted to create a building that would make his paintings stand out - clean, symmetrical, and above all connected to nature. The gallery is entered through the underground floor, where a staircase leads to a reception with a café and a small seating area. The lowest floor, where the exhibition begins, is dark. However, when the viewer reaches the top floor, there is a sunny space. The space creates a calm and cosy atmosphere and the view complements everything.
