WOOD ART PAVILION

The Wood Art Pavilion was designed in the atrium of the faculty, creating a space for the presentation of wooden art objects. I was inspired to design the pavilion by the works of artist Martin Patřičný, who specializes in wood art. The pavilion contains a number of open vertical areas where wooden paintings can be exhibited, but there is also an open space for wooden sculptures. The pavilion is designed to show students less traditional woodworking techniques, bringing inspiration and knowledge of working with a material that has always been associated with architecture.
