PAVILON ŠTVANICE

The pavilion is a separate unit located on the Vltava River. The key words of this design are isolation and water washing away problems. My inspiration was the feeling I experienced when I was kayaking down the river. Its location creates isolation from the shores, and the water washing over the pavilion washes away the problems and worries of the people who enter it. The pavilion can be accessed using recreational watercrafts such as paddleboards and kayaks, which can be rented on the shore. Its circular shape provides visitors with a view of the entire panorama of the river. The pavilion consists of five smaller parts. The three sections include an opening in the floor that creates privacy at the water level in the opening. The remaining two parts complete the experience of the view.
