Galery Malich

The design is based on the work of Karel Malich. He works with elementary geometric shapes, which he gives new meaning to by minor modifications such as incompleteness or breaks. I applied the same principle in the concept of the building. The interior environment responds to other forms of expression that Malich was concerned with. The solution of the interior corresponds to three distinct bodies of work. A smaller space is created for the wire installations to draw the viewer into the play of shadows. When viewing the abstract paintings, the visitor is surrounded by a generous volume that evokes a sense of freedom and liberty. The third unit is a separate room designed to outline the era of minimalism.
