Annotation

The gallery in a form of a raumplan is located in Higashimayato near Tokyo, Japan. As we already know from the title, the works of the world-famous Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki are exhibited here. The building has two floors and is located by Lake Tamako. It was designed to create a connection between the visitor and nature. The gallery is entered from the east side, where the reception is also located. On the ground floor, there is an exhibition room and a cafe, which are separated from each other by stairs. Next, the visitor can decide whether he wants to continue to the first floor, where there are 2 screening rooms, an exhibition room, and an atrium with a view of the city, or through the cafe, he finds himself on a terrace with a view of the lake.
