WALLHOUSE / LINEARHOUSE FOR LOUIS KAHN

I designed both works for Louis Kahn. He is one of the most important Brutalist architects of the 20th century. [WALLHOUSE] In this project I mainly focused on the geometric shapes that Kahn used most often. The most striking element is the circular hole through which the staircase leads. There is a cafe in the lower part of the house. The staircase begins and ends with a triangular element. In the upper part there is an apartment with all equipment and a studio. [LINEARHOUSE] I have already abandoned Louis Kahn's design style in this design. This house serves as a gallery with a cafe. One half of the house is transparent and the other half is solid. The cafe is only in a smaller transparent part, the rest of the space is a gallery with sanitary facilities.
