GALLERY IN LITOMĚŘICE

The gallery is dedicated to Martin Stránek. The building itself is located in his native Litoměřice. The concept is based on a structural plan. One of the main ideas was to incorporate a frequent motif in the author's photographs into the building itself, where we can witness the clash of two worlds. Specifically, ours and what nature created. That is why the element of the outdoor terrace, which is connected to the surrounding walkway with a ramp, was chosen. In addition to the exhibitions themselves, the visitor can also enjoy the beauty of the České středohoří, which he has a direct view of from the seats. The gallery has a longitudinal shape, the reason for this decision was, among other things, the fact that Martin Stranka's large-format photographs have a similar shape orientation.
