GALLERY FOR VENDA TRUHLÁŘOVA

The gallery is located on the outskirts of a town in the Vysočina region, in the area of which Venda Truhlářová used to stay in. Her work focused on dreamlike and later realistic depictions of landscapes and rural life. The main concept is connecting the exhibition spaces with the outdoor landscape so that one does not feel enclosed. The visitor can view the paintings and see the inspiration of the artist alongside them. The exhibition space begins immediately upon arrival with her early work in the form of graphic arts, then the visitor enters the main naturally lit area, the landscapes exhibition, which extends to the first floor. At the end of the exhibition is a café with a terrace and another staircase leading outside.
