AGNES MARTIN GALLERY

Agnes Martin was an American abstract artist who rose to fame in the 1960s. She conveyed emotional positive states of happiness, unity and joy. The gallery is situated in the forest by the river. The design of the building is inspired by a minimalist style and the use of geometric shapes with an emphasis on clean lines and simplicity. The use of natural light and open spaces creates a calm and contemplative atmosphere that is consistent with the artist's work. The gallery consists of two parts - the main circle, where the exhibition space is located on all of the three floors, and the annex, where there is a reception with a cafe. From the second floor we enter the terrace with a view of the river and the countryside. There are also toilets and storage in the basement.
