Community centre in Býčkovice

The design of the community centre keeps as much as possible the outdoor space and the characteristic simplicity of the village shape of the buildings. The design consists of two separate buildings. The first is a café with a large glass area. It is located nearer to the road and so attracts people to the location. It is such a space where small events and meetings can be held, where one can come for coffee or to read something. Through the café we can get to the bigger building. There is a main social hall, public toilets and a space on the 1st floor which is a study room or just a room to relax. Those two buildings limit the space outside and create a kind of hidden zone where there are big wide stairs towards the stream.
