Galerie Kubi(s)šta

My design of the gallery is for Bohumil Kubišta. An artist who was destined by his surname to become a prominent Czech cubist painter. In the design I was inspired by geometric shapes and crystalline forms, so typical for this artistic direction. With the help of angled sloping roofs, the visitor is led through the space from floor to floor and along the entire perimeter of the building. The object is enclosed in a crystal that gradually bounces in height until it sinks into the ground.
