GALLERY FOR CHRISTINE LANTZ

The gallery is designed for Christine Lantz and her collages, presenting compositions mainly of Swedish landscapes. Lantz's native country Sweden inspired me to design a gallery on the edge of a forest lake. Visitors enter the gallery on the top floor. A glass wall offers an enjoying view of the Swedish countryside. Or they can enjoy a reception office with a café and a seating area for a quieter experience. The exposition is located on the lower floor. Visitors walk through a long exhibition space to another view on the landscape. The exhibition continues on the underground floor, lit by skylights along the wall. After enjoying the exhibition visitors can leave on the first above-ground floor and walk to the lake. The form of the gallery is made of three blocks arranged in an L shape.
