ŽIŽKOV GALLERY

the gallery is dedicated to artists who had or have something to do with Prague's Žižkov. it is located at the top of the Parukářka park, from which visitors can enjoy the view of the city in addition to the art of painting, drawing or sculpture. the gallery, designed according to the principles of the raumplan, can be accessed in different ways thanks to several staircases leading to a total of five different levels. In addition to each level being at a different height, each level is also different in height, depending on the size and importance of the exhibit. when moving to other parts of the exhibition, the viewer can also perceive the internal layout of the building, which, thanks to height irregularities, has a restless but pleasant effect and allows views across the entire gallery.
