Gallery Stromovka

With more than sixty percent of the glass perimeter, the gallery becomes almost a palace of the Sun, where it is possible to experience the same exhibition in a completely different light atmosphere several times during a single day, but still for the first time. The building is situated in the northern part of the English park Stromovka and naturally reacts to the surrounding environment with the basic material property of glass, i.e. the reflection of the surrounding nature. It works on the principle of contrasting interior elements, which in itself reveals the floor plan itself. Open and intimate spaces alternate here. The contrast can also be found in the presence of two basic materials, i.e. light and true glass in combination with solid and strong concrete.
