GALLERY METAMORPHOSIS

The gallery dedicated to the work of psychedelic painter, illustrator and sculptor Alex Gray is built on the artist's own principles - symmetry, connectedness and networks. It gives the visitor a sense of spirituality and mystery, which enhance the spiritual experiences from Alex's collection. The initial concept of the building was created on a grid, which is reflected in its entire design. The connectedness is reflected especially in the ramp located around the inner perimeter of the gallery. It guides the visitor through different height levels. The heart of the gallery is an open staircase with an elevator in its center.
