Urban garden under the bridge

The aim of my design is not only to provide housing for homeless people, but also to change the way society treats them. And that's why I'm designing the houses in a way that creates public spaces and an opportunity to involve those people in the life of the community. That's how I came up with the idea of creating some kind of urban garden under the bridge. The chosen plot is located between two parks and serves as a link between them. In my design I'm leaning towards creating several small houses. This creates a public space and at the same time gives the individual residents more privacy. I solve the composition by connecting the units with a pergola, and thus the space becomes a pleasant avenue. In the plan, it's an axial composition where dominates community center.
