BRIDGE SQUARED

Annotation

The project is made up of one building with 3 floors. It is situated on the site of two demolished blocks from the time of the construction of the Nusle bridge, and which house a parking lot and a gas station today. It is therefore directly under the massif of the Nusle bridge, which is ties in to the Lávka (footbridge) concept. The footbridge is located on the roof of the building and connects the green foothills under the Vyšehrad metro stop and the Folimanka park. The concept was inspired by the supports of the Nusle bridge and the idea of adding another point of view to the district. Today, one can walk through the valley at a "human" level, or look at it from the Nusle bridge with a "bird's eye" view, the proposed design complements this.
