HOUSE WITH A STUDIO

The concept of a house with an architectural studio is designed to effectively respond to the need of separating different functions, so that the work life of the residents doesn´t have a negative impact on their privacy and doesn´t dominate their daily life. The concept is based on the creation of a clear boundary between the working and living space, which leads to the creation of two separate volumes, connected only by the main staircase leading to the garden. The house has three floors and its shape responds to the steep terrain in which it is situated. The interior offers simple but generous spaces. Thanks to high windows, balconies and a spacious terrace on the roof of the studio, residents can enjoy beautiful views to the south of a valley in Prague´s Hodkovičky.
