Temporary housing for refugees on the garage

The house is located on the roof of a garage in a dilapidated semi-dilapidated district of Smichov. The main function of my house is temporary housing for a group of refugee students. The living quarters are on the second floor. The first floor fulfils a public function in the form of a café and a home gym, which are connected by one common counter with a sliding glass partition. A café and a rear entrance for residents provide access to the building. At the core of the residential area is an opening above the café and gym counter that connects the private and public areas of the building. Skylights of various shapes were used to further illuminate the second floor. This is a masonry construction of the house, the facade cladding is provided by long planks of Siberian bluestone.
